Recently I have been wearing pieces that contrast each other but in a weird way just work.

Leather + Floral + Knit Vest = Matrix Prep

Leopard + grandma sweater + The Beatles = Vintage Rockstar

 Maxi Skirt + Tshirt + Cheetah = Sassy Cinderella

 Bright Yellow Shorts + Lace + Combat Boots = Neon Wild Child

Oh and rule of thumb -- Always wear high socks with boots. Just do it.
